Day Twelve – Tower
I’ve always liked the old photos that you see in textbooks and on the history channel. I follow Shorpy’s Historical Photo Blog where archived glass plate negatives are scanned and uploaded every day. I woke up early this morning to take photos at dawn. This one of Sutro Tower is actually 21 photographs combined to make a single image. I then edited it to look as if it were from the glass plate negative archives of the 1900s. Since this photo is many photos combined, it is also extremely detailed just like those from the archives. Click on the photo to see the full resolution image. (Warning ~45MB file)
